Keiko Uno Jewellery Spring 2020 Collection Preview
10th October 2019
Wow what a day! Beautiful champagne and wines from Burch Family wines, artisan chocolates by Nakamura Chocolates, the sublime voice of Harriet Marshall of Freeze Frame Opera, style advise from Styled by Busi O and Annelieze Biggs all against the backdrop of Amy Burch’s riverside mansion and infused with scents from COCOON LUXURY AUSTRALIA.
We were delighted to showcase our latest creations from my ‘Octopus’ collection – we’re proud to announce that the statement earrings have been chosen as a finalist in the UWA Biology as Art Exhibition. This collection was born from a chance encounter with an octopus while diving on Parker Point, Rottnest. From the Gorgon, Kraken to Akkorokamui, the myths surrounding octopuses have gripped our collective imagination for thousands of years. Keiko’s ‘Octopus’ designs are a meditation on the tenacity and regenerative powers of these revered and mysterious creatures. And these earrings have proved popular with those wanting to make a bold statement.
Latest pieces from our ‘Fan of the Sea’ collection were also on show, inspired by Keiko’s love for the majestic and elegant Gorgonian sea fan coral.
We’ve been adding to this popular collection through embellishments of colourful gemstones and contrasting metal finishes to compliment the trend in fashion toward bold prints. If you’ve acquired a pair of our ‘Fragments’ earrings, then the cuffs from this collection are the perfect compliment.
Thank you Amy and all our guests, through your generous support over $1,800 was raised on the day for Lyme Disease Association of Australia Inc.
